Biography

Mr. Dasu has served as chief engineering officer since September 2007.

Prior to joining AceclRx, Mr. Dasu served as vice president of medical device engineering at Anesiva, Inc.,,and as vice president for manufacturing and device development at AlgoRx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an emerging pain management company that merged with Corgentech, Inc. in December 2005.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Dasu served as vice president of manufacturing and process development at PowderJect Pharmaceuticals, which was acquired by Chiron Corporation in 2003. Mr. Dasu has also held positions in process development at Metrika Inc., which was acquired by Bayer HealthCare, LLC in 2006, and at Cygnus, Inc., a drug delivery and specialty pharmaceuticals company. Mr. Dasu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from the University of Mangalore, India and a Master of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Tulsa.
